Bags For Beth supported by alumni

The 2026 Bags for Beth event at Haubner Field delivered in full force. Lancer alumni spanning decades showed up in heavy numbers—a testament to the unbreakable bond of the La Salle brotherhood.

What began as a tribute has evolved into a powerhouse, securing scholarships and directly supporting the next generation of Lancers. The evening opened with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance, honored this year’s scholarship recipients, and paid proper respect to Drew '65 and JoEllen Nieman with a permanent plaque dedication at the White Oak Athletic Association field.

Perfect weather, but even better camaraderie. Ultimate respect to a family that has poured into La Salle for generations, and to the men who continue to stand shoulder-to-shoulder to carry the torch.
