Dick Young '69 - Submarine Memorial

A rainy Saturday couldn't dampen the dedication of the new USS Cincinnati Nuclear Submarine (SSN-693) Memorial at Voice of America Park in West Chester!

This incredible historic and educational site is the result of a 25-year vision led by US Navy veteran and submariner Dick Young '69. The unique, full-scale outdoor exhibit features the original salvaged main sail, rudder, and engine of the Cold War-era submarine.

The memorial is open 24/7, features weekend volunteer tour guides, and is completely free to visit. Stop by to experience this remarkable tribute to our veterans and naval history.
