Alumni Basketball Event - '96 (30 years) and '11 (15 years) State Title Recognition

We are thrilled to announce that this year marks the 30 and 15-year anniversary of our unforgettable 1996 and 2011 state championship in basketball—the first and second in our school's history!   To commemorate this incredible achievement, we will be honoring all members of these teams during our home basketball game on Saturday, January 31st.

We would love for them to join us for this special event!   During the game, we will be recognizing the team on the court at halftime. We will be hosting a social for them with food and drinks in the Alumni Heritage room before the game beginning at 6:00pm to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate the legacy you helped create.   Our alumni relations coordinator Brian Heidorn '86 will be their guide for the evening.

To ensure we can make the necessary arrangements, please RSVP at your earliest convenience if you are member of one of those teams.   We want to make sure we have a complete list of attendees so that everyone receives the recognition they deserve.   They will not need to purchase a ticket to the game as the team will walk into the gym together before tip-off.

Please let us know if you as a team member can attend by January 23rd.   We can't wait to celebrate with you and the La Salle community and relive the magic of those unforgettable seasons!

Here is the agenda for the evening:

 

 

4:30 PM - 5:45 PM - "Happy hour" in the new Alumni Heritage Room at La Salle (SW corner of school building. Enter through the back patio with the red awning labelled Heritage Room).   Beer, wine, pop, water and food will be served (provided by La Salle Advancement and Athletic Team). 

 

5:45 PM - 8:00 PM - Basketball Game vs. Chaminade Jullienne.   We will recognize you and your teammates at halftime!   You will not need to purchase a ticket to the game as the team will walk into the gym together before tip-off.

 

8:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Hang out in the Alumni Heritage Room with your teammates, re-network and reminisce.    * Optional school tour will be available for those who want to see all the great improvements and exciting things happening at LaSalle since we've walked the halls.
