As we remember all those that have served in the past, present and in our future, it seems appropriate that we recognize an accomplishment of one our own.   From the Pentagon, to a La Salle VAD committee member, to the CAF, Steve Koenig '82 has done all that has been asked of him, especially with one of our mantra's being "Called to Serve!"    Check out his latest accomplishment below:

Steve was elected as the Wing Lead of the newly established Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Buckeye Wing at Union County Airport (KMRT) in Marysville, Ohio. The CAF Buckeye Wing was established to recognize the crucial role that Ohio has played in aviation history while offering Ohioans the opportunity to support the CAF mission and its growing air force. The Buckeye Wing received it's charter in March and has acquired it's first WWII flying airplane, a 1943 Fairchild PT-26. Collecting aircraft for nearly a half a century, the CAF now ranks as one of the largest air forces in the world. Today the CAF has approximately 13,000 members and a fleet of more than 180 aircraft. Commemorative Air Force is a 501(c)(3) organization and donations are tax deductible. If donating, please specify "Buckeye Wing", https://cafbuckeyewing.org/home of email [email protected] for more information.
